St Augustine’s College, Augustine Heights, is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher (Learning Enhancement) to support diverse learners, foster inclusive classroom practices, and help students achieve their full potential in a nurturing and engaging learning environment

- Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + super (commensurate with experience)

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices.
- Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and communicating these to students, parents and the broader school community.
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.
- Proactively engaging in professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Establishing positive relationships through the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development.
- Ensuring the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form the foundation of learning and teaching.
- Delivering targeted Tier 3 intervention programs, including MiniLit and MacqLit, for students from Prep to Year 6.
- Delivering Tier 2 intervention programs and targeted support as required.
- Providing teacher release support to facilitate collaborative planning with the Support and Curriculum Teams, including the use of assessment data, specialist reports, reasonable adjustments, differentiation strategies, and parent engagement meetings.
- Planning, delivering and monitoring intervention programs, preparing student progress and summary reports, and working collaboratively with classroom teachers, the Support Team and the Curriculum Team to improve student outcomes.

- Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum
- Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students
- A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development
- For this position you are required to be Catholic.

- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
