About the opportunity

The Assistant Principal Religious Education & Identity oversees the Cultural and Sports Leaders and the Campus Minister, and shares the responsibility of Daily Organisation with the Deputy Principal and Assistant Principal Student Wellbeing. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of the College, the Assistant Principal Religious Education & Identity assists with the formation of Middle Leadership through the College Leadership Team (CLT) which comprises the SLT and Middle Leaders as Strategic Leaders of the College.

  • building the religious life of the school and a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
  • growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
  • building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance. 

 

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
  • For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
