Trinity College is a co-educational Catholic College with an enrolment of over 960 students from Years 7 -12. The College is administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia.

Support the school’s mission by leading learning and teaching. This includes developing curriculum aligned with national, state, and local standards; implementing effective pedagogies; supervising teaching quality and student learning; using data analysis to guide decisions; building internal and external partnerships; and managing resources responsibly.

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Leading the coordination of designated curriculum areas taught in the school
- Applying contemporary research and data analysis to classroom practice through professional development, staff supervision, and induction of new teachers
- Providing pastoral care for staff engaged in the designated curriculum areas
- Coordinating and developing work programs aligned with national, state, and local requirements
- Staying current with curriculum developments and supporting staff learning through ongoing professional reading and research
- Managing assessment, moderation, and reporting processes, including accurate record-keeping
- Supervising teaching quality through collegial planning, moderation, classroom observation, and reflective practice
- Monitoring student learning outcomes using performance data and implementing appropriate interventions
- Contributing to school leadership through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings
- Managing financial and material resources, including budget planning and expenditure
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Developed work programs in alignment with national, state, and local requirements.
- Driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs.
- Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
- Stakeholder engagement fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Having responsibility for a financial budget.
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirement:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
