About our school
Good Samaritan Catholic College, located in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast, is a Prep to Year 12 institution that opened in 2019. The College has steadily grown and now accommodates approximately 1500 students. The first cohort of seniors graduated in 2024.

Summary
The Senior Admin Support Officer will support both the Primary and Secondary Assistant Principal's (Learning and Teaching). You will have strong organisational and time management skills, and be highly competent in a variety of ICT, including, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Brisbane Catholic Education and College data bases (or the ability to learn these quickly), Timetables (including Student Development Files) and platforms that support academic reporting and bookings.

- Salary: School Officer Level 6 - $42.67/ hr + 12.75% Super (School Salary Scale)

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:

Support the leadership team with administration tasks including internal and external examinations, testing platforms and material preparation

Coordinate data management of student information for additional Adjustments for Assessments to meet QCAA deadlines across all subjects, and QCAA events.

Oversee NAPLAN, PAT Testing and DIBELS processes including coordinator tasks, portal management, creation of test schedules, student participation and disability adjustments, and creating test administrator / student manager packs

Manage and Monitor the QCAA Memos and external Assessment administrative process including secure storage of assessment, compilation of session packs with AARA forms.

Update the Parent Portal, and Set up and monitor Parent Teacher Meetings and active communication with parents as required at each phase meetings

Assist with the creation and maintenance of the yearly Subject Selection handbooks

Create semester assessment planners for each year level across 7-12

Liaise with Timetabler and other stakeholders, to complete subject selection changes, pathway changes, and record changes, updating the Timetabler File (Student Development), change records and changes to QCAA student profiles where required

Maintaining accurate records and systems in line with BCE requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes
