  • Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum  + super (commensurate with experience)

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting whole-school (Tier 1) wellbeing and engagement practices
  • Delivering targeted (Tier 2) interventions for students requiring additional support
  • Building staff capacity in effective behaviour and regulation strategies
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and the Student Support Team
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive school culture grounded in Catholic values
  • Supporting teachers to implement effective strategies for behaviour, engagement, and regulation
  • Delivering small group and short-term targeted interventions for students
  • Using data to monitor student progress and inform intervention
  • Collaborating with staff and families to support student wellbeing

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum
  • Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students
  • A strong commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education
  • Experience or understanding of MTSS, PB4L, or similar frameworks
  • Is proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused
  • Supports and contributes to the Catholic identity of the school

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
