St Kieran’s Primary School is a warm and welcoming Catholic school with an enrolment of over 340 students from Prep to Year 6 and is located along the shores of Moreton Bay in Brighton, one of Brisbane’s hidden gems. Summary

Play a key role in supporting the school’s administrative and operational needs, taking on a diverse range of tasks.  

  • Location: St Kierans - Brighton
  • Start date: 14/07/2025 
  • Work hours: 35 hours, 5 Days per week | 8am -3:30pm
  • Salary: $32.02 + super (School Salary Scale)
  • Status: Full Time Fixed Term/Variation

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Organising documents and correspondence as directed
  • Responding to enquiries and providing basic information as required
  • Assisting with a range of routine administrative support across the school
  • Maintaining established systems, processes and registers
  • Assisting with arranging meetings and other school activities or events.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Proficiency in and an understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Adaptable, flexible, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Providing general administrative support
  • Processing requests following policies and procedures 
  • Organising meetings, activities and events 
  • For this position you are not required to be Catholic.

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
