Summary

 

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking an experienced AI Delivery Lead to lead the strategy and delivery of a system wide portfolio of AI enabled products that improve learning, wellbeing and operational excellence. This senior role is responsible for translating organisational and school needs into practical, human centred AI solutions, while establishing the governance, capability and frameworks required for responsible, scalable and sustainable AI adoption across BCE

  • Salary: $155,351 - $172,606 plus super
  • Status: Fixed Term | March – December 2026

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will be: 

  • Lead the strategy, development and delivery of BCE’s AI product portfolio, aligned to organisational priorities
  • Lead cross functional teams across discovery, prototyping, build, deployment, adoption and continuous improvement
  • Analyse organisational and school needs to inform product roadmaps, prioritisation and decision making
  • Establish and maintain AI product governance, lifecycle processes, guardrails and assurance checkpoints
  • Provide expert leadership in AI enabled solution design, responsible AI practices and human centred product development
  • Build scalable product frameworks and standards that support long term learning, wellbeing and operational outcomes
  • Partner with and influence senior stakeholders to ensure AI products are embedded effectively across BCE
  • Manage interdependencies between technology, policy, workforce capability, and schools
  • Lead workforce and capability uplift in AI, identifying future skills and enabling sustainable organisational growth

About you

 

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Experience leading complex digital or AI enabled products from concept through to delivery and adoption
  • Being responsible for the implementation and delivery of strategic objectives and attainment
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Deep understanding of AI governance, risk, ethics and responsible AI practices
  • A systems thinking mindset, with the ability to design scalable frameworks and standards
  • Strong analytical skills, using data and insights to guide decisions and prioritisation
  • A collaborative, human centred approach that supports learning, wellbeing and sustainable change
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or equivalent experience in a similar senior role
