The Customer Solutions team leads BCE's IT project portfolio, acting as the bridge between IT capabilities and customer needs. They ensure that technology solutions enhance customer interactions, improve experiences, and support BCE's growth. Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high‑level administrative and executive support to senior leaders within our Information Technology function. This role plays a critical part in enabling effective leadership by managing complex priorities, coordinating executive activities, and supporting strategic outcomes through exceptional organisation, sound judgement, and a proactive, confidential approach. Working closely with IT executives, you will help ensure their time, priorities, and operations are managed smoothly and effectively.

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will:  

  •  Providing proactive, high-quality executive assistance while exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality
  • Managing complex diaries and calendars, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and prioritising competing demands
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and high-level documentation to support executive and project activities
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to enquiries and resolving issues effectively
  • Interpreting policies, procedures, and guidelines to determine appropriate actions and ensure compliance
  • Supporting planning, reporting, budget preparation, and financial processing as required
  • Managing databases, tracking information, and preparing regular reports and prioritising workload to meet deadlines and achieve outcomes
  • Researching, analysing information, and solving non‑routine problems guided by policy and precedent

About you

 

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:    

  • Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative support, ideally in a complex or senior stakeholder environment
  • Having a strong attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to adherence to policies and procedures
  • Experience in a similar position and possess strong problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to prioritise workload and tasks, undertaking initial investigations, and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Strong communication skills to respond to enquiries
  • Working closely with a senior staff to provide administrative assistance
  • Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant or similar role (highly regarded but not essential)

  

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:  

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment  
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children
