Summary

As the ICT Engagement Support Officer, you will be part of the Business Engagement team, acting as a key link between business users and technical teams. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into practical system solutions, while supporting the effective use and continuous improvement of enterprise systems. This role focuses on user-driven enhancements, stakeholder engagement, and building capability across the organisation—providing guidance, supporting adoption, and managing front-end system administration and Level 0–1 changes. Partnering with technical teams and vendors, you will help deliver system improvements that strengthen digital capability and meet the evolving needs of BCE.

  • Salary: $106,702 - $118,554 plus super

About the opportunity

In this position you will: 

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify, define, and translate business needs into clear functional system requirements.
  • Drive continuous, user-led system improvements by gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance usability and effectiveness.
  • Support the design and enhancement of enterprise systems, including coordinating user acceptance testing and refining processes.
  • Engage with end users to support system adoption, build capability, and ensure solutions meet operational needs.
  • Provide practical guidance and support on system functionality, resolving issues and enabling effective system use.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of processes that align systems with organisational priorities and user requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to support implementation of system changes and enhancements.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, proactively capturing insights and driving improvements in services and system performance.

  

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Providing general advice
  • Creating accurate documentation with a high attention to detail
  • Stakeholder engagement ensuring information flow in a timely and inclusive manner
  • Experience in implementing business process and procedure assessment, optimisation, and improvement within the technology domain
  • Ability to facilitate change for end users, including development and delivery of training
  • Providing information to a range of internal and external stakeholders in response to direct queries
  • Investigating issues and concerns and providing advice and information in line with policy and procedures  
  • Qualification in education, business, information technology, information systems, or equivalent relevant work experience
