Summary

As an ICT Officer – Solution Analyst, you’ll join our Digital Solutions team to support and enhance information systems and services that underpin learning, teaching, and administration across BCE schools and offices. In this key role, you’ll deliver technical support, analysis, and development for teaching and learning applications (including SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, and mobile apps), while collaborating to resolve issues, improve operational processes, and drive system enhancements for continuous growth and efficiency.

  • Status: Fixed Term | November 2025 to December 2026
  • Salary: $106,702 - $118,554 plus super

About the opportunity

In this position you will:   

  • Deliver high-level technical support and operational management for information systems and services across BCE schools and offices
  • Support, analyse, and maintain applications developed by the Learning and Student Technology team, including key teaching and learning tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, mobile apps)
  • Developing procedures and guidelines to promote service and system improvements
  • Collaborate within an agile team to design, develop, implement, and enhance software solutions, while sharing technical expertise and maintaining documentation
  • Contributing to problem-solving initiatives, and handling complex issues within delegated authority where precedents and procedures are not clearly defined
  • Presenting operational information and services to engage, influence and guide clients and peers
  • Liaise with team members and stake holders to resolve technical issues, provide solutions to complex problems, and drive performance improvements

About you

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Provide general advice.  
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level applications
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation with a high attention to detail
  • Stakeholder engagement ensuring information flow in a timely and inclusive manner
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and BAT
  • Experience working with product vendors such as Microsoft
  • Experience supporting SharePoint (OnPrem and Online)
  • Experience supporting the Office 365 Suite
  • Provide information to a range of internal and external stakeholders in response to direct queries
  • Investigate issues and concerns and providing advice and information in line with policy and procedures  
  • Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma) in Information Technology

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:  

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment  
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
