About our team 
The Customer Solutions team leads BCE's IT project portfolio, acting as the bridge between IT capabilities and customer needs. They ensure that technology solutions enhance customer interactions, improve experiences, and support BCE's growth. The Business Engagement team within our Information & Technology function is dedicated to driving transformative initiatives that empower progress and adoption across our organisation. Partnering with our BCE and Cairns’ Schools and head offices, our team harnesses cutting-edge technologies, AI, and best practices to optimise processes, enhance & support user experiences, and ensure the ongoing improvement, integrity, and functionality of our systems. Summary

As the Lead, Corporate Technology Services, you will drive the strategic design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems to support organisational performance. This role is responsible for leading high-performing teams, partnering with stakeholders to deliver technology solutions, and ensuring that systems and processes align with evolving business needs. You will provide expert advice, foster professional learning, and champion effective change management to optimise outcomes across the organisation.

  • Salary: $155,315 - $172,606 plus super

About the opportunity

In this position you will:  

  • Lead and manage the design, delivery, and maintenance of enterprise business systems and capabilities to support BCE’s strategic priorities and organisational performance
  • Manage high-performing teams across functional areas to achieve team goals
  • Undertake advanced analysis of strategic direction, providing data-driven suggestions and reporting to support policy and process development
  • Take financial and portfolio accountability for systems, resources, and processes, focusing on improvement agendas aligned with BCE strategies and requirements
  • Develop, implement, and review strategic processes and procedures, including risk planning, contingency, and change management
  • Optimise long-term organisational and service delivery outcomes by managing resources, setting expectations, and creating frameworks
  • Provide specialist advice and technical leadership in the development of best practices
  • Consult, collaborate with, and influence stakeholders at all levels to plan workforce needs, identify future requirements, and ensure effective preparation

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Undertaking the development and review of strategic processes
  • Being responsible for the implementation and delivery of strategic objectives and attainment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams to achieve strategic goals
  • Identifying function area needs for now and the future
  • Experience in financial and portfolio management within a technology context
  • Stakeholder engagement across an organisation at a Senior level
  • Managing teams across different function areas
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or previous experience in a similar position (highly regarded but not essential)

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
