Join a team that delivers meaningful technology initiatives that support students, schools, and BCE staff across Queensland. As the Senior Advisor – Project Coordination & Technical Delivery, you will play a key role in coordinating complex projects from planning through to implementation, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and successful delivery outcomes. Working across technical and business teams, you'll help drive projects that enhance services, improve operational effectiveness, and support organisational priorities.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Coordinate the delivery of complex projects and initiatives, ensuring key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are achieved
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to stakeholders on project planning, delivery approaches, and implementation considerations
- Develop and manage project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk registers, governance artefacts, reports, and status updates
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure project activities remain aligned and on track
- Support project governance and assurance processes, ensuring compliance with organisational frameworks and reporting requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices, processes, and documentation standards
- Facilitate the transition of project outcomes into business-as-usual operations through effective handover and knowledge transfer activities
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects, programs, or initiatives from planning through to delivery.
- Strong project planning, governance, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to support successful outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to provide advice, influence decision-making, and keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and changing requirements.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or relevant project coordination experience, with project management qualifications, HR, or payroll systems experience highly regarded.
