Summary
The Team Leader - People Technology Services is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for driving the strategic direction, performance and continuous improvement of the Human Capital Management & Payroll systems and services that support people-related functions across Brisbane Catholic Education. Working at the intersection of business, technology and service delivery, you will lead a high-performing team, partner with key stakeholders and influence initiatives that enhance organisational capability and performance. This role combines strategic thinking with operational leadership, ensuring enterprise systems, processes and frameworks continue to evolve in line with organisational priorities and future needs. You'll play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions, improving service outcomes and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

- Salary: $155,351 - $172,606 plus super

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Lead the delivery, enhancement and ongoing management of enterprise people and business systems
- Provide leadership and direction to a high-performing team, building capability and driving continuous improvement
- Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, develop effective solutions and influence positive outcomes
- Analyse business requirements, trends and data to support strategic decision-making and system improvements
- Oversee system portfolios, resources and budgets while ensuring effective governance and operational performance
- Develop and implement processes, frameworks and change initiatives that improve service delivery and organisational outcomes
- Provide expert advice and technical leadership to support best practice across people technology services
- Support workforce planning and future capability development to ensure the team remains responsive to evolving business needs
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise systems, technology services or business improvement initiatives within a complex environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor and inspire high-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions
- Experience leading organisational change, process improvement and strategic projects
- Strong commercial, governance and risk management capability with experience managing competing priorities and resources
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
- Relevant qualifications and/or significant experience in technology services, business systems, project delivery, people technology or a related field
