Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Delivery Coordination Advisor to drive the efficient allocation and delivery of technical tasks across multiple teams. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with Managers, Team Leaders, and project stakeholders to ensure that technical deliverables are assigned appropriately, progress is tracked, and any obstacles are swiftly resolved. You will play a key part in supporting project and operational requirements, optimising resource allocation, and fostering collaboration between internal teams and external service providers. Your expertise will help ensure projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and contribute to organisational performance and success.

About the opportunity

In this position you will:  

  • Collaborate with Managers and Team Leaders to assign project tasks to BAU teams, ensuring tasks match skill sets and capacity
  • Track progress of assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with project requirements
  • Proactively escalate critical issues or obstacles for swift resolution
  • Develop strategies and provide advice to improve organisational performance through high-level reviews and investigations
  • Assist in mitigating risks and optimally allocating resources to meet project objectives
  • Prepare specialised and technical reports, committee papers, and updates on task status, risks, challenges, and milestones
  • Oversee relationships with external service providers, ensuring outsourced tasks meet quality expectations and project goals
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and service providers to foster collaboration and prevent delay    

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:    

  • Providing advice on complex technical, commercial, operational, and administrative management practices.  
  • Stakeholder engagement for cross-collaboration.  
  • Analytical mindset, using data and information to identify areas for improving operational practices.  
  • Ability to build capability within and across business areas to enhance operational performance and efficiencies
  • Demonstrates a proactive mindset, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.  
  • Leading and fostering a high performing team.  
  •  Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or previous experience in a similar position (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Recognised project management qualification (such as CAPM, PMP, MSP, MoP, PMBOK, PRINCE2)

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment  
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
