Summary
Play a key role in supporting the school’s administrative and operational needs, taking on a diverse range of tasks. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Officer to join our Prep team in 2026. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to support early years learners in a dynamic and nurturing environment.

- Salary: School Officer Level 2 $32.50 + super (School Salary Scale)

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Organising documents and correspondence as directed
- Responding to enquiries and providing basic information as required
- Assisting with arranging meetings and other school activities or events.
- Assist Prep teachers in the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Support students with individual and small group activities
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment
- Contribute to the social and emotional wellbeing of students
- Collaborate with staff to support the learning and care needs of young children
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Proficiency in and an understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Adaptable, flexible, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in early childhood or education support (desirable)

- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
