About our school 
Xavier Catholic College is a co-educational K-12 College operated by Brisbane Catholic Education that commenced in 2003. In 2013 a two session Kindergarten was established on site and is administered by Catholic Early EdCare. Our Prep to Year 12 enrolments have grown to over 1340 and continues to expand. Our mission for the College is to provide a high-quality, inclusive Catholic education where all are engaged in their learning and motivated to do their best. Deliver impactful marketing and communications support! Partner with school leadership to streamline operations and enhance engagement. Coordinate and develop diverse tasks, offering expert advice, training, and guidance to empower others. Drive process improvements and ensure efficient administration to keep school operations running smoothly.

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for: 

  • Developing and administering processes and procedures, while responding to relevant inquiries. 
  • Reviewing and developing local systems and providing recommendations for enhancement. 
  • Monitoring service delivery to identify efficiencies and ensuring compliance with government and departmental legislation, directives, policies, and standards—while keeping all websites and print media current and accessible. 
  • Promoting service delivery efficiencies and maintaining compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to address needs and respond to requests.
  • Facilitating work to meet deadlines and commitments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Supervising and training support staff as required to ensure smooth delivery of events, key celebrations, and regular marketing and communication activities. 

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Supporting media activities across online platforms and print materials. 
  • Applying branding guidelines and interpreting relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with marketing procurement and basic budgeting tasks.
  • Contributing to digital content and media management to align with school objectives.
  • Coordinating marketing and event activities to meet local needs and trends.
  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent experience).

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
