About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:

Perform general repairs and maintenance across the school, including furniture, equipment, locks, windows, and facilities

Clear drains, hose walkways, and regularly remove leaf debris from footpaths

Collect waste and carry out urgent cleaning duties outside regular cleaning hours

Safely operate and maintain small machinery and plant
-
Assist with preparations for school events such as sporting carnivals

Collaborate with the Leadership Team to conduct inspections and carry out repairs

Support day-to-day operations and school security

Assist with ordering and purchasing materials
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff, students and visitors
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

Current driver’s licence

Previous experience in handyman or building maintenance (highly regarded)

Well-organised, flexible, and able to work independently with limited supervision

Willingness to work additional hours and extend beyond the fixed-term contract if required
-
Respect and support for the Catholic ethos of our school (no requirement to be Catholic)
