Our Lady of the Rosary School (OLR) is a Catholic Primary Co-educational School located at 1 Kenmore Road, Kenmore. Our welcoming, inclusive and tight-knit school community is located within a beautiful leafy setting, with first-class facilities. Student enrolment is over 220 students. About the opportunity
The Marketing and Communications Officer is responsible for providing effective and efficient support services in a wide variety of tasks and activities to maintain and enhance the effective operation of the school.
In this position you will be responsible for:

Provide a wide range of support to the school leadership team to provide relevant materials to support the promotion of the school.

Use various software applications to effectively process and maintain accurate records, draft, update and format standard documents and handle sensitive information with discretion under the direction of senior team members.

Respond to enquiries ensuring accurate and relevant information is provided in a timely manner, resolve any concerns or issues that may arise and record relevant correspondence according to set processes and procedures.

Assist in the development, maintenance and operations of social media and online systems and databases recommending improvements as necessary within routine methods and procedures.

Maintain marketing stock and issue expendable stores including recording stock levels and the distribution of equipment, delivery dockets, invoices and payment vouchers.

Establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases of key contacts, past students and other key personnel.

Assist with the coordination of events and key dates throughout the year.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

Strong administrative skills to manage records, prepare documents and handle sensitive information with care.

Excellent communication abilities to respond warmly and professionally to parents, staff and visitors, ensuring enquiries are answered clearly and promptly.

Confidence with digital tools and social media, helping to maintain the school’s online presence and recommending improvements to engage families and the wider community.

Organisational capability to keep track of marketing resources, stock levels and distribution processes.

Attention to detail in maintaining filing systems, registers and databases of key contacts, past students and community partners.

Team spirit and flexibility to assist with the coordination of school events, celebrations and key dates throughout the year.
