Summary
At St Benedict's College, the Learning and Teaching Senior Administration Officer will work closely and under the guidance of the Assistant Principal: Operations and Strategy and the Assistant Principal: Teaching and Learning to support the administrative functions of Learning and Teaching and the daily operations of the College.

About the opportunity
As the Senior Admin Support Officer (Learning and Teaching) you will have strong organisational and time management skills, and be highly competent in a variety of ICT, including Daily Organiser, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Brisbane Catholic Education and College data bases (or the ability to learn these quickly), and platforms that support academic reporting and bookings.
The successful applicant must have the ability to manage private and confidential information and have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
In this position you will be responsible for:
• Managing the College's Relief Teacher using Class Cover, and to create replacement teacher rosters using Daily Organiser
• Supporting the Assistant Principal - Operations and Strategy with the advanced organisation, tracking, and management of daily staff supervision requirements and allocations across the College
• Oversight and data management of student information about Additional Adjustments for Assessments
• Managing NAPLAN processes including coordinator tasks, portal management, creation of test schedules, data checking, managing student participation and disability adjustments, and creating test administrator / student manager packs
• Managing the QCAA External Assessment administrative process including reception and secure storage of assessment, compilation of session packs with AARA forms.
• Setting up and monitoring Parent Teacher Meetings.
• Creating semester assessment planners for each year level
• Updating the Parent Portal information with current and relevant Curriculum information
• Supporting Administration Office workflows through coordination, prioritisation, and problem solving during peak periods.
• Maintaining accurate records and systems in line with BCE requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Overseeing and improving systems and administrative resources, having recommended and implemented process enhancements
- Coordinated daily administrative tasks, managed workloads and fostered teamwork
- Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and procedures related to school operations
- Managing procurement activities and financial administration
- Marketing and promoting administrative services, ensuring programs align with school needs and current trends
- Familiarity with timetabling and managing the Daily Organiser software is highly desirable
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
