St Michael’s College is a co-educational Catholic College welcoming secondary student from Years 7 to 12. Situated high on the hill at Merrimac, the school enjoys coastal breezes and expansive views of the beautiful coastline. Summary
Use your administrative expertise to deliver strategic advice and high-level administrative support, working closely with the leadership team and stakeholders to achieve operational goals across the school.

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the development, maintenance, and operations of relevant systems and administrative resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures
- Coordinating general day-to-day administrative tasks, monitoring workloads, promoting teamwork, skill development, and a sense of pride in the school
- Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures, and other guideline material relating to administrative operations within the school
- Preparing and maintaining procurement activities, including overseeing budget administration and activities
- Marketing and promoting administrative services, coordinating programs that are responsive to the school requirements and current trends
- Implementation and organisation of the full enrolment life cycle, including:
- Liaising with parents and community regarding enrolment enquiries
- Processing enrolment application forms and confirmation forms
- Scheduling enrolment interviews, enrolment evenings, and sending out offers of placement
- Managing and maintaining eMinerva enrolments database
- Generating, interpreting, and providing analytical reports and enrolment data and trends
- Providing an exceptional customer service experience
- Organising College Principal Tours as required
- Collating social media requests and inspiring colleagues to think about class blogs and social media posts around learning and engagement in their classroom
- Taking photographs of college events as and when requested
- Organising refresh of collateral including photo shoots and filming annually or as required
- Working with the leadership team to promote and organise Orientation Days, the College Open Day, and new parent information sessions
- Proactively contributing to the updating of the College Website and Parent Portal, information handbooks, and other enrolment and promotional material as required
- Organising the production of the Annual College Yearbook
- Liaising closely with local feeder schools regarding transition programs and other programs to grow the College’s presence within these school communities
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Overseeing and improving systems and administrative resources, having recommended and implemented process enhancements
- Coordinated daily administrative tasks, managed workloads and fostered teamwork
- Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and procedures related to school operations
- Managing procurement activities and financial administration
- Marketing and promoting administrative services, ensuring programs align with school needs and current trends
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
