Deliver dynamic support across a wide range of ICT tasks to optimise and elevate the school’s operations.

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the effective running and maintenance of the ICT network infrastructure and ICT initiatives and projects within the school
- Assisting in the development, maintenance and operations of school ICT administrative systems and information databases, recommending improvements to systems and processes
- Installing new equipment and software and undertaking preventative maintenance and routine repairs of computers and associated equipment throughout the school
- Providing technical advice regarding network computers, equipment, software applications and resources in developing learning programs
- Diagnosing and resolving ICT incidents and issues and contributing to the improvement of ICT services through the escalation of relevant incidents, requests and problems
- Oversee and co-ordinate College ticketing system for jobs to be allocated and actioned in a timely manner
- Manage staff support requests submitted via Help Desk. Discuss these requests with the IT Systems Manager
- Logging and liaising with laptop support vendors whenever ADP or Warranty issues arise
- Issue staff and students with loan laptops, where necessary
- Assist administrative staff in the College at the direction of the IT Systems Manager
- Maintain staff and student loan laptops
- Assist IT staff with day-to-day requests and running of the College
- Other duties as requested by Principal/Business Manager
- Provide first-level end user support in person, via phone, email and remote desktop
- Provide staff and students support with laptop problems and general IT support
- Capacity to work with Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Understanding networking basics (TCP/IP Ethernet, WiFi connectivity troubleshooting)
- Supporting staff with printing, scanning, and multifunction device issues
- Supporting IT Office with VoIP (telephony systems)
- Provide support to the IT Manager for network and server maintenance
- Imaging of devices where necessary and ensure the timely return of the laptops to the student
- Active Directory administration
- Liaise with IT vendors regarding pricing for products and services where required at the request of the IT Systems Manager
- Follow all College policies and procedures – especially those that relate to daily IT processes and guidance by the IT Systems Manager.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Expertise in helping to maintain and support ICT network infrastructure and ICT initiatives
- Experience in contributing to the development, maintenance, and improvement of ICT administrative systems and databases
- Proficiency in installing equipment, software, and performing routine maintenance and repairs
- Ability to assist others with technical advice on network systems, software, and resources for learning programs
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve ICT incidents, while improving services through escalation and issue resolution
- Certificate in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or related field
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
