Southern Cross Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 school offering families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning. The College was founded in 1995 following the amalgamation of the Catholic primary and secondary schools in the Moreton Bay Region.
The multi-campus College operates as the principal Catholic College on the Redcliffe peninsula. Play a vital role in delivering efficient and impactful administrative support, handling a diverse range of tasks to ensure the smooth and dynamic operation of the school.

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Providing a wide range of administrative support to the school leadership team to effectively manage their availability, schedules, and appointments
- Responding to enquiries ensuring accurate and relevant information is provided in a timely manner
- Assisting in the development, maintenance and operations of administrative systems and databases, recommending improvements as necessary
- Maintaining stock and issue expendable stores including recording stock levels and the distribution of equipment, delivery dockets, invoices and payment vouchers
- Establishing and maintaining filing and records management systems, including registers and databases, ensuring easy and on-time retrieval of information
- Oversee all data entries onto the BCE Pathways platform
- Construct Work Experience Agreements and Risk Assessment documentation
- Contact employers, students and parents for signatures of WEA
- Conduct workplace site visits as needed
- Compose data summaries of vocational work placement each year
- Compile ETES documentation for SATs
- Liaise with Senior Years Program Leader and report updates as requested
- Develop community relationships with employers to facilitate activities including work experience placements and mock interview initiatives
- Maintain student folios housing vocational paperwork and progress results
- Maintain and update tertiary entrance and vocational information which is available to students
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Providing general administrative support
- Diary management and the scheduling of activities and appointments at a senior level
- Maintaining a variety of administrative systems
- Being responsible for enquiries from a variety of stakeholders and supplying timely information in an engaging way
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
