About the opportunity
Roster is Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 3.30pm.
Providing Typical duties performed include, but not limited to:
• Ensure the reception foyer is presented as a welcoming.
• Manage nominated email accounts. Action emails or forward to appropriate recipients
• Manage the electronic visitor system.
• Receipt and record all payments made to Reception
• Respond to student, parent/carer, staff and College Community enquiries in a timely and supportive manner
• Professional expertise when responding to telephone calls and face to face enquiries
• This position will have an element of administration support with the College Curriculum needs as directed by our Assistant Principal - Teaching & Learning.
• Coordinate and produce Edsmart Parent Slips for excursions, incursions, camps and sport. This includes creating Activities in eMinerva and updating Team Apps
• Obtain bus quotes and raise purchase orders for successful quote for excursions etc.
• As a member of the College Office Team provide support and relief to other members when required.
• Other duties as directed by the Principal, Assistant Principal - Teaching & Learning and/or Business Manager that is commensurate with the level of the position.
This is a Level 4 School Officer position.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative and operational support and advice on a diverse range of matters
- Developing and/or administering processes and procedures and responding to enquiries
- Monitoring service delivery to identify efficiencies and ensure compliance with government and departmental legislation, directives, policies and standards
- Facilitating work to meet deadlines and commitments and to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Supervising and training support staff as required, ensuring high standards of administrative support.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Having provided a wide variety of administrative and operational support
- Coordinating tasks to meet deadlines and commitments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
- Advising on administrative tasks and processes, driving process improvements
- Understanding of compliance within a school and delivering on relevant legislation, policy and procedures
- Led and supported administrative staff, ensuring their smooth onboarding and providing effective training for optimal performance
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
