  • Salary:  School Officer Level 4 - $36.98/ hr + 12.75% Super (School Salary Scale)

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Support students in identifying appropriate strategies to manage challenges and re-engage with learning.
  • Assist students to access appropriate school-based wellbeing and support services.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to student wellbeing, engagement and behavioural support.
  • Monitor student attendance, engagement and behaviour data to identify emerging concerns
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, summaries and data dashboards for Pastoral Leaders and the Wellbeing Team.
  • Liaise regularly with Pastoral Leaders and teachers regarding student wellbeing concerns, interventions and support strategies.
  • Assist with communication between school and home regarding pastoral matters as directed.
  • Provide administrative support for pastoral care and wellbeing processes.
  • Assist with the organisation and maintenance of student wellbeing documentation, support plans and records and Coordinate meeting schedules, and correspondence 
  • Support the administration of engagement monitoring programs and intervention initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of wellbeing resources, presentations and communications.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Having provided a wide variety of administrative and operational support
  • Coordinating tasks to meet deadlines and commitments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery 
  • Advising on administrative tasks and processes, driving process improvements
  • Understanding of compliance within a school and delivering on relevant legislation, policy and procedures
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with young people
  • Capacity to manage confidential information with discretion
  • For this position you are not required to be Catholic

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
