Summary
Deliver impactful marketing and communications support! Partner with school leadership to streamline operations and enhance engagement. Coordinate and develop diverse tasks, offering expert advice, training, and guidance to empower others. Drive process improvements and ensure efficient administration to keep school operations running smoothly.

Work hours: 38.00 hours per week (Additional Hours may be required)
Salary level: School Officer Level 4 - $36.98/ hr + super
Status: Term Time Continuing - School holidays are unpaid

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative and operational support and advice on a diverse range of matters
- Developing and/or administering processes and procedures and responding to enquiries
- Monitoring service delivery to identify efficiencies and ensure compliance with government and departmental legislation, directives, policies and standards
- Manage the use of the College's Website, App, Portals, Facebook account and other marketing platforms
- Assist in the coordination of marketing operations within the College
- Assisting with Coordination and communication of College activities, including extra-curricular activities, student achievements and community news
- Support the Principal and Leadership Team in promoting the College to the local and wider communities
- Manage and monitor College Website, Parent Portal, BCE Connect App, College Portal, Staff Portal, Facebook and other social media platforms
- Assist Enrolments Officer with Open Days, including promotions and preparation
- Coordination of promotional media and liaison with suppliers
- Communicate College news and events on social media platforms.
- Train new staff on how to use College Communication and Marketing systems
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Supporting media activities across online platforms and print materials.
- Applying branding guidelines and interpreting relevant policies and procedures.
- Assisting with marketing procurement and basic budgeting tasks.
- Contributing to digital content and media management to align with school objectives.
- Coordinating marketing and event activities to meet local needs and trends.
- Relevant qualifications in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent experience).
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
