St Thomas More College is a Brisbane Catholic Education co-educational secondary college catering for approximately 1150 students. Summary
The Dance Assistant/Coach plays a key role in supporting dance teams and performance groups within the school environment, working under the supervision and guidance of the Lead Dance/Sports Coach.

- Salary: School Officer Level 2 (Casual rate) - $40.63/hour + super

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with equipment and the preparations for, and conducting of, training sessions and/or dance events.
- Supporting students with a diverse range of abilities and learning needs.
- Ensuring the condition of resources and materials are clean and safe to use and arrange the repair or replacement for any damaged item.
- Generally, supervising small groups in their chosen sport.
- Encouraging camaraderie and sportsmanship amongst players.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- No formal qualification is required; however, a strong track record in the relevant sport and relevant coaching experience will be highly regarded.
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
- Current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence, if required.
