Summary
Clairvaux MacKillop College, Mt Gravatt is seeking an inspiring Curriculum Leader (Mathematics) to lead excellence in teaching and learning across the school. This key leadership role will drive curriculum innovation, support high-quality pedagogical practices, use data-informed decision-making to improve student outcomes, and foster strong partnerships within the College community while ensuring effective stewardship of resources.

- Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + Middle Leader Allowance - Tier 5 + 12.75 Super

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Leading curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation across the school under the direction of Senior Leadership
- Applying contemporary learning and teaching research and data analysis to classroom practice through whole-school professional development and targeted teacher support
- Collaborating with Curriculum Leaders, teaching staff, and Senior Leadership to review curriculum frameworks and plan future directions
- Managing teacher performance through professional dialogue, reflective practice, and formal and informal goal setting and appraisal
- Staying informed on developments in curriculum, learning, and teaching through ongoing professional reading and research, and facilitating staff learning aligned with these updates
- Planning and delivering induction and mentoring programs for beginning teachers in collaboration with Senior Leadership and Curriculum Leaders
- Monitoring student learning across the school using internal and external performance data, and implementing school-wide interventions where needed
- Participating actively in staff and middle leadership meetings, and working closely with Senior Leadership on curriculum matters
- Managing financial and material resources, including budget planning and responsible expenditure within the area of responsibility

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Developed work programs in alignment with national, state, and local requirements.
- Driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs.
- Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
- Stakeholder engagement fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Having responsibility for a financial budget.
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
