Summary

 

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking an organised and proactive Administration Support Officer to join our Education Future Initiatives team. Supporting the Head of Education Future Initiatives and the wider team, you'll play a key role in coordinating administrative operations, managing information and documentation, and assisting with the delivery of programs and projects. This is a varied role that combines stakeholder support, reporting, process improvement and project coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple priorities and contributing to meaningful initiatives.   • Salary: $80,318 - $90,762 plus super

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will be responsible for:  

  • Provide administrative support across calendar management, meeting coordination, records management, correspondence, reporting, budget administration, invoice processing and event coordination
  • Collate, organise and maintain information, documentation and resources to support programs, projects and effective decision-making
  • Monitor deadlines, track priorities and assist with the smooth delivery of team initiatives and activities
  • Prepare reports, documentation and communications while responding to enquiries from a range of stakeholders
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support team objectives and service delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives

 

About you

 

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:    

  • Having a strong attention to detail.   
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Confidence preparing reports, managing documentation and working with data and information systems.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support and building positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Working closely with a senior staff to provide administrative assistance.   
  • Previous experience in an administration, coordination or business support role.

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment  
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children
