Summary
As the Administration Support Officer – Student Learning and Wellbeing, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our Student Learning and Wellbeing teams. This role is responsible for providing high-level administrative support, managing data and documentation, coordinating events and meetings, and assisting with reporting and communication. You will be the go-to person for resolving administrative queries, supporting process improvements, and liaising with a range of stakeholders to help deliver effective programmes and services for students and staff.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Collate and organise data, documentation, and resources to support team operations.
- Partner with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Senior Manager and team, using strong First Nations connections to boost engagement and retention.
- Interpret information and resolve administrative queries to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Assist with workflow, planning, calendar management, team communication, scheduling, and event coordination
- Support project delivery by tracking progress and assisting with reporting for learning and teaching initiatives
- Manage calendars, facilitate team communication, schedule tasks and meetings, and coordinate events.
- Use advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other programs to support administrative functions
- Prioritising workload and tasks, and resolving issues as required.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to address needs and respond to requests.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Having a strong attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to adherence to policies and procedures.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, particularly in Excel and Share Point.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, exercising discretion, judgement, and professionalism
- Experience in a similar position and possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and tasks, undertaking initial investigations, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills to respond to enquiries.
- Working closely with a senior staff to provide administrative assistance.
- Certificate-level tertiary qualifications in business administration or a related field
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
