About our team 
The Marketing and Engagement Team advises individual schools on strategic marketing and engagement approaches to enhance community presence and achieve student enrolment goals. They create tailored strategies, frameworks, and tools to empower BCE schools to meet their specific market needs and objectives. The team also coordinates and conducts system-wide marketing campaigns, focuses on capability uplift, and collaborates with integral school staff and internal experts to support school enrolment strategies and broader BCE programs.

Join our dynamic team as a Marketing and Engagement Advisor, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the public presence and enrolment success of BCE schools. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful marketing campaigns, collaborate with school leaders and communities, and contribute to the strategic direction of student engagement and brand development across the BCE system.

  • Salary: $118,656 - $131,184 plus super

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Design, coordinate and deliver end-to-end marketing campaigns tailored to individual BCE schools and major campaigns across the system of schools.
  • Collaborate with principals and internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts with enrolment strategies and broader BCE priorities.
  • Provide expert advice on branding, positioning, and engagement practices.
  • Develop high-quality marketing resources that drive impact and support school reputation and engage with stakeholders to clarify needs and co-develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to inform marketing strategies and share best practices and enhance digital marketing capabilities and implement fit-for-purpose policies.
  • Write and proofread communication materials for school and BCEO marketing collateral.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting marketing systems, workflows, and projects.
  • Provide guidance and quality assurance for work undertaken by supporting staff.

About you

 

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex marketing initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and proofreading.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across diverse teams and communities.
  • A relevant degree or advanced diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
