Summary
As the Advisor – Master Planning, you will oversee the coordination and delivery of BCE’s school master planning program from initiation through to delivery. Working across the whole archdiocesan school portfolio, you’ll bring together architects, urban designers, specialist consultants, internal parties and school stakeholders to ensure the overall program and individual school master plan projects are delivered on time, in accordance with scope, aligned to priorities, and ready to inform capital delivery and investment decisions.
It’s a hands‑on coordination role that sits at the intersection of planning, governance and project delivery.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Lead the day‑to‑day program planning, ensuring timelines, deliverables, dependencies and governance requirements are met
- Manage and coordinate multiple school master planning projects from early concept through to final approval
- Coordinate inputs from external consultants including architects, designers, planners, and engineers
- Organise and facilitate workshops, meetings and briefings to keep stakeholders aligned and projects progressing
- Navigate approval and endorsement processes across schools, parishes and corporate teams
- Work closely with BCE planning, construction, finance and educational teams to ensure plans align with budgets, staging and delivery programs
- Track progress, risks, issues and milestones, escalating where required to maintain momentum and quality
- Prepare clear project updates, reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Demonstrated project management experience coordinating a program of works that involves a diverse and complex range of projects, issues and challenges within a planning, construction, or infrastructure context
- Proven ability to manage multiple work streams, timelines and stakeholders concurrently
- Experience engaging and coordinating external consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organisational skills with a practical, delivery‑focused approach
- Clear and confident communicator, able to translate complex information into practical outcomes
- Comfortable working within structured governance and approval framework
- Written specialised reports and committee papers on projects you have led
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, architecture /design, strategic planning, or a related field
