Summary
Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking an experienced Engagement and Communications Advisor to deliver high‑quality, strategically aligned communication and engagement initiatives across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working closely with internal stakeholders, this role provides expert advice, develops fit‑for‑purpose communication strategies, and supports the delivery of impactful messaging that strengthens engagement, improves outcomes, and supports organisational priorities. This role plays a key part in ensuring communication approaches are clear, consistent, and aligned to BCE’s strategic direction.

- Salary: $122,215 - $135,119 plus super

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication and engagement strategies aligned to project and organisational needs
- Provide high‑level specialist advice on complex communication and engagement matters
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders as a trusted communications partner
- Undertake research, analysis and evaluation to inform communication approaches and improve practice
- Analyse data, identify trends and gaps, and recommend improvement strategies to enhance engagement outcomes
- Draft and refine communication copy, key messages and written materials aligned to overarching strategy
- Collaborate across business areas to resolve communication challenges and support organisational initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies in systems, workflows and processes
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex communication and engagement strategies in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience providing expert advice and influencing outcomes at a senior or organisational level
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into practical, actionable communication solutions

- Demonstrates a proactive mindset, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Relevant degree or advanced diploma qualifications in communications, marketing or a related field
