Summary

 

Join Brisbane Catholic Education's Procurement & Contracting team in a pivotal leadership role focused on maximising value from supplier partnerships and contract outcomes. As the Contract Performance & Supplier Partnering Lead, you will establish and lead BCE's post-award contract management and supplier performance function, driving governance, accountability, continuous improvement and strategic supplier relationships. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you'll use data-driven insights and commercial expertise to strengthen contract performance, mitigate risk and deliver meaningful organisational outcomes.

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will:  

  • Lead BCE's contract performance and supplier partnering function, establishing frameworks, governance and best-practice approaches to post-award contract management
  • Develop and implement supplier performance management strategies that drive accountability, value realisation and continuous improvement
  •  Provide expert advice on contract performance, supplier assurance, commercial governance and complex supplier-related matters
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships that foster collaboration, innovation and improved service delivery outcomes
  •  Analyse contract outcomes, supplier performance, service metrics and market intelligence to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and service delivery expectations
  • Partner with stakeholders across BCE to strengthen procurement capability, mitigate risk and support effective contract lifecycle management

About you

 

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:    

  • Demonstrated experience leading contract management, supplier performance, vendor management or procurement functions within a complex organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret supplier performance data, manage risk and influence strategic decision-making
  • Proven ability to establish governance frameworks, performance measures and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all organisational levels
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, commerce, business, law, public administration or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications and/or professional memberships will be highly regarded

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:  

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment  
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement
