Summary
We are seeking an ICT Engagement Advisor who will play a pivotal role in transforming the digital experience across Brisbane Catholic Education’s schools and office environments. This role is focused on enabling contemporary pedagogies and effective business practices through strengthened technology engagement, improved digital literacy, and user‑centred service design. As a key connector between end users, vendors, and technical teams, you will help shape and deliver ICT solutions that enhance operational efficiency, support learning environments, and drive continuous innovation across BCE.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Provide expert advice on complex ICT management practices and ensure effective service delivery.
- Lead and coordinate product enhancement initiatives, including user stories, solution design and user testing.
- Offer high-level subject matter expertise to support resolution of technical and operational challenges.
- Collaborate across business areas to understand organisational needs and contribute to effective solutions.
- Support technology adoption, digital literacy, and development of engaging learning and user experiences.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to inform improvements in systems, processes, and workflows.
- Identify and resolve issues impacting system performance, efficiency, and user experience.
- Partner with consultants, vendors and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business requirements and foster ongoing innovation.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Demonstrated experience providing professional advice on complex ICT or operational matters
- Providing advice on complex technical, commercial, operational, and administrative management practices.
- Stakeholder engagement for cross-collaboration.
- Experience coordinating technology-related enhancements and supporting end users.
- Analytical mindset, using data and information to identify areas for improving operational practices.
- Demonstrates a proactive mindset, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (highly regarded).
