Summary
Leverage your expertise in strategy and collaborate across Brisbane Catholic Education, driving enhancements in operational efficiency. As the People Analytics and Insights Lead, you will drive strategic, evidence-based decisions by leveraging people data and advanced analytics.
You’ll lead the development and delivery of workforce insights, reporting, and analytics frameworks that inform organisational strategy, support governance and compliance, and measure the impact of people and culture initiatives.
This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making, optimising performance, and supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.

- Salary: $155,351 - $172,606 plus super

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Lead and deliver organisation-wide, ‘fit for purpose’ strategic workforce initiatives that empower and inspire BCE people to deliver our vision, mission, and strategy
- Drive strategic analytics and operational data services to enable data-informed decision-making and enhance workforce effectiveness
- Collaborate with People and Culture (P&C) leaders and teams to integrate, share, and optimise high-quality people data for process efficiency, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Design and maintain a BCE P&C analytics framework, including key metrics, dashboards, and a strategic scorecard aligned to our People Strategy
- Deliver P&C metrics and scorecard reports to leadership, and manage compliance submissions to external bodies
- Consult, collaborate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Analyse people data to identify trends, generate insights, and provide recommendations for workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development
- Champion ethical and inclusive data practices, ensuring compliance with privacy legislation and internal governance policies
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Undertaking the development and review of strategic processes
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and privacy-compliant data practices
- Demonstrated experience in people analytics, strategic workforce planning, and HR data reporting
- Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Excel, and HRIS platforms
- Identifying function area needs for now and the future
- Stakeholder engagement across an organisation at a Senior level
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in data analytics, human resources, business intelligence, statistics, or a related field
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
