Summary

This is a 6‑month fixed term contract, joining the People Capability and Leadership team to support the delivery of priority, system‑wide initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, enhance the employee experience, and build a future‑ready workforce aligned to BCE’s culture aspirations.

The role is hands‑on and delivery‑focused, requiring strong program leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate strategy into high‑quality, practical outcomes across diverse school and office contexts.

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will: 

  • Lead and coordinate priority leadership and capability initiatives aligned to BCE’s culture and people strategy, ensuring high‑quality design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of leadership development programs and events, including assessments, facilitation support, participant engagement, logistics, and post‑delivery evaluation and insights.
  • Contribute to the Reimagine Leadership Development initiative, contributing to discovery and insight synthesis, stakeholder engagement through focus groups, workshops and co‑design sessions, and supporting pilot delivery of future leadership development approaches.
  • Design and support implementation of mentoring or development frameworks, including consultation, development of standards, resources, and learning materials.
  • Support improvements to onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring alignment to broader employee experience and leadership capability priorities.
  • Contribute to broader people, capability, and leadership priorities, working collaboratively to support continuous improvement and a positive team culture

About you

This role is well suited to a delivery‑focused practitioner who enjoys working across multiple initiatives, brings strong execution discipline, and is motivated by making a tangible impact within a complex, values‑led system.

You will:

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering leadership, capability, and/or organisational development initiatives in complex environments, with a strong focus on practical implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to build credibility, partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and engage diverse participant groups.
  • Proven capability in coordinating and delivering complex, multi component programs, balancing competing priorities and using data, insights, and evaluation to inform decision making and continuous improvement.
  • A strong alignment to BCE’s values, with a demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high performing workforce culture
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in organisational development, human resources, organisational psychology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
