Summary

As the Procurement Data & Insights Analyst, you will transform complex procurement data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making and improved business performance. You will design and maintain dashboards, scorecards and reports while strengthening data integrity across procurement systems and tools. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will identify reporting needs, improve processes and develop practical solutions that enhance procurement performance. This is an opportunity to combine your analytical expertise, commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement skills to build stronger data and reporting capability across a diverse organisation.

About the opportunity

In this position you will:  

• Design, develop and maintain procurement dashboards, scorecards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights
• Analyse complex data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational performance
• Manage the quality, integrity and consistency of procurement data across systems, reporting tools and workflows
• Lead data validation and cleansing activities while maintaining clear data definitions, structures and reporting standards
• Translate complex information into accessible insights that support evidence-based decisions and stakeholder engagement
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to understand reporting needs and develop effective solution
• Research and resolve complex procurement, system and workflow issues, providing informed technical and professional advice
• Strengthen data literacy and reporting capability across the procurement function

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:    

• Demonstrated experience analysing complex data and translating findings into clear, practical business insights.
• Strong capability in developing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards and performance reports.
• Experience managing data quality, validation, cleansing and reporting standards across multiple systems or data sources.
• The ability to identify trends, process gaps and opportunities for improved efficiency and performance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clarify business needs and collaboratively develop solutions.
• Sound research, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, particularly when working through complex technical or operational issues.
• The ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders with different levels of data literacy.
• A relevant tertiary qualification, postgraduate study or professional membership will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:  

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment  
• Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
