Summary
Leverage your expertise in strategy and collaboration across Brisbane Catholic Education, driving enhancements in operational efficiency. As the Program Lead, Finance Innovation, you will drive the transformation and enhancement of financial processes, systems, and capabilities across Brisbane Catholic Education. This role is responsible for leading program management and providing expert financial advice to support continuous improvement, innovation, and the implementation of new ways of working. You will collaborate with Financial Services, ICT, schools, and office teams to identify opportunities, deliver change, and ensure the ongoing development of financial services.

- Salary: $155,351 - $172,606 plus super

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Support leadership in developing and evolving Financial Services’ continuous improvement and innovation roadmaps to drive efficiencies and new ways of working
- Coordinate research, analysis, and development of recommendations for future financial processes, tools, and systems—including automation and innovative approaches
- Provide specialist program management and professional financial subject matter expertise, advice, and guidance into Financial Services’ improvement and innovation projects
- Lead the review and assessment of financial processes, driving progress on a gated pipeline of priorities, including change impact assessments and management
- Support the development, testing, and maintenance of financial systems and tools, including documentation and support materials for Financial Services, BCE schools, and office
- Create and deliver training documentation, and provide education on financial components of information systems; assist with professional development and training for staff
- Drive the continuous development of services and capabilities within the Financial Services team
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Undertaking the development and review of strategic processes
- Strong program management skills and financial subject matter expertise
- Being responsible for the implementation and delivery of strategic objectives and attainment
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a senior financial management role, including large program
- Identifying function area needs for now and the future
- Stakeholder engagement across an organisation at a Senior level
- Managing teams and collaboration across different function areas
- Relevant tertiary education and/or extensive experience in accounting, business, or related field. Membership of CA/CPA or equivalent
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
