Summary

Your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals and teams resolve challenges, improve processes, and ensure smooth operations within Brisbane Catholic Education We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Administration Officer to join out Education Future Initiatives team. This role supports a range of education projectes and business-as-usual activities, contributing to the delivery of high-impact work accross Foundations for Success, Hybird Learning and Curriculum Projects. 

 

  • Location: BCE Office - Woolloongabba
  • Work hours: Full-time | Flexible working arrangements available 
  • Salary: $92,570 - $104,607 plus super 
  • Status: Fixed term | 12 month contract | August 2025 to August 2026

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for: 

  • Providing administrative support by scheduling, planning and organising activities, allocating tasks, and preparing documents and correspondence. 
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, schedules, and documentation for the Education Futures Interventions team.
  • Organise committee meetings, including preparation of papers, venue coordination, and minute-taking.
  • Support the Education Futures Interventions Committee with logistics and documentation.
  • Maintain and create databases, spreadsheets, and presentations to meet business needs.
  • Process invoices and manage internal approval workflows.
  • Prioritise tasks and solve non-routine problems using research and analysis.
  • Interpret policies, guidelines, and procedures to determine the best course of action, ensuring legislative and procedural requirements are met and matters/issues are resolved. 

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Providing administrative support to senior staff members. 
  • Providing accurate documentation with a high attention to detail. 
  • Stakeholder engagement ensuring information flow in a timely and inclusive manner. 
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support project outcomes.
  • Certificate III in business administration, project management or relevant field (or equivalent experience).

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
