Summary
Showcase your ability as the Senior Advisor, driving organisational change through process improvements. In this pivotal role, you will shape and implement effective numeracy strategies across schools, provide expert advice on curriculum and learning programs, lead the development of innovative practices to enhance student engagement and achievement, and collaborate with educators and leadership teams to deliver impactful outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence educational direction, analyse and solve complex challenges, and contribute to the continuous improvement of numeracy teaching and learning.

- Salary: $137,560 - $152,836 plus super
- Status: Fixed term | November 2025 - December 2026

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Working within a Program team and with a Project Manager, to provide expert advice and deliver initiatives that shape organisational practices for effective Numeracy improvement across BCE schools
- Undertaking detailed analysis to define operational and resource requirements, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to identify and plan implementation actions
- Creating, evaluating and refining resources and implementation strategies to maximise engagement and impact
- Responding to system and school level data on complex and strategic issues to deliver outcomes and make recommendations
- Partnering with teams to embed evidence informed, high impact Numeracy improvement practices
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Leading projects to meet operational outcomes with an understanding of effective practices that drive improvement in schools
- Demonstrated strength in data informed decision making, conducting complex analysis and translating insights into practical operational plans
- Analytical in your approach to problem solving
- Proven ability to lead improvement in Numeracy outcomes, leveraging effective processes and subject matter expertise to lift organisational performance
- Worked with multi-disciplinary teams
- Tertiary post-graduate qualifications in Education and Mathematics and/or previous experience in a similar position (highly regarded)
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Full registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
