About our team
The Organisational Culture Team deliver specialist organisational development projects and initiatives across culture, leadership, performance, and capability to engage, empower, and inspire BCE people to deliver BCE’s aspirational culture. The team leads the design and delivery of strategic workforce initiatives, leadership programs, and performance management frameworks to enhance organisational performance and culture.
Summary
As the Senior Advisor People Capability and Leadership, you will play a key role in shaping a high-performing, future-ready workforce. This position is responsible for supporting BCE’s Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) cohort and Early Career Teacher network. You will partner with leaders and educators to support school-based staff through mentoring and learning opportunities to professionally grow the capability of our HALTs and Early Career Teachers. Your expertise will help ensure the workforce is equipped to meet current and future challenges, supporting career growth, organisational culture transformation, and the achievement of strategic goals.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Design, deliver, and embed strategic leadership and talent development programs (including HALT, ECT, mentoring, career pathways, in partnership with business leaders and educators, supporting growth, capability, and a strong leadership pipeline).
- Provide support to the HALT cohort through mentoring and networking opportunities.
- Coordinate the utilisation of the HALT cohort to build capability across our schools.
- Coordinate and support the ECT network through various learning opportunities such as workshops and online forums.
- Analyse culture, learning and people data to drive improvements, and design resources and tools that empower BCE people to deliver on our vision, mission, and strategic priorities.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to share expertise, support career advancement, and shape a high-performing, future-ready workforce.
- Perform other duties as required to support the People Capability and Leadership team.
- Work in partnership with school-based role holders and leadership teams across areas of speciality.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people, culture, and learning data.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering professional development programs to upskill talent.
- Conducted high level reviews of data to investigate and implement interventions
- Worked with school-based stakeholders such as early career teachers and leadership teams in your area of speciality
- It is preferable if you have engaged with the HALT Certification process through assessing or as an applicant.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
