About our team
The Learning, Teaching and Curriculum team plays a pivotal role in advancing educational excellence within Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE). The team leverages data and research-informed insights to provide policy and guiding direction to support schools in nurturing student learning and wellbeing. Through advice, resourcing, and professional learning, the team enables schools to engage in action and agency towards excellence and equity for all learners, whilst maintaining legislative and system learning and teaching requirements.
Summary
Showcase your ability as the Senior Advisor - The Learning Dashboard, driving organisational change through process improvements. This position supports primary, secondary, and P-12 Colleges as part of the Student Learning and Wellbeing team, which sits within the Research, Innovation & Impact team under the Education Excellence function. The team is grounded in a culture of partnership, consultation, and collaboration with schools, and works closely with other functional areas across Brisbane Catholic Education to deliver impactful outcomes.

- Salary: $133,554.00 - $148,386.00 + super
- Status: Fulltime | Fixed Term | 6 months

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Leading projects to develop policy, influence direction, and organisational practices and procedures, and operational outcomes.
- Provide specialised support for services, programs, and initiatives that enhance progressive reporting capabilities.
- Equip, guide, and support teachers and school leaders to embed progressive reporting practices in classroom learning and teaching, and to plan whole-school approaches aligned with BCE learning and teaching priorities.
- Analysing data to positively challenge and negotiate perspectives on complex and strategic issues to deliver outcomes and make recommendations.
- Develop strategies to provide sound advice to improve organisational performance by undertaking high-level reviews/investigations as identified.
- Lead and facilitate professional learning to align curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment with progressive reporting.
- Partner with school-based role holders and leadership teams.
- Work in partnership with school-based role holders and leadership teams across area of speciality.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Leading a variety of projects to meet operational outcomes.
- Analytical in your approach to problem solving.
- Conducted high level reviews and investigations linked to organisational performance.
- Written specialised reports and committee papers on projects you have led.
- Worked with multiple stakeholders and leadership teams in your area of specialty.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in education; post-graduate qualifications in curriculum, assessment, or a related field are preferred.
- Fully registered with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or have relevant experience in curriculum, assessment, and reporting across P-12.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Full registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT). or
- Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
