Summary
As the Senior Executive Advisor to the Education and Digital Excellence Executive (EDEE), you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level strategic support and advice to executive leadership. This position is responsible for driving key organisational strategies, initiatives, and projects across Education Excellence and Information Technology. You will facilitate communication and collaboration across departments, oversee daily operations, and ensure alignment with strategic and operational priorities.

About the opportunity
In this position you:
- Provide high-level strategic support and advice to the EDEE, ensuring effective leadership and management of day-to-day operations
- Oversee daily operations of the Office of the EDEE, managing issues and executing instructions across the organisation
- Serve as a liaison between the EDEE, other executives, leaders, employees, and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and collaboration
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with BCE policy and legislative requirements
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organisational success, focusing on strategy, innovation, and stakeholder engagement
- Conduct research and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and support strategic initiatives
- Write and review documents, presentations, executive briefing papers, and reports, ensuring quality and timelines
- Respond to and triage internal and external client requests, demonstrating a thorough understanding of internal services and Archdiocesan requirement
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with senior leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, oversee projects, and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive information
- Demonstrated experience in a similar support role, providing effective executive support to a C-level executive with a high level of confidentiality
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or previous experience in a similar position (highly regarded but not essential)
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement
