About our team
Our Office Services Team is dedicated to providing a comprehensive suite of services that enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our organisation. The team manage BCE Office venues, building security, travel arrangements, fleet, telephony and mobile technology systems, records management, reception, inhouse catering, receipt and dispatch, and BCE insurance provision. Our commitment to excellence ensures that we deliver seamless and reliable support, enabling our colleagues to focus on their core responsibilities and achieve their goals.
Summary
Showcase your expertise in insurance, driving enhancements in operational efficiency as a Senior Insurance Advisor. This role will be responsible for leading BCE’s insurance risk management programs and providing expert advice across the organisation.

- Salary: $133,554 - $148,386 + super

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Administer and renew BCE’s insurance program.
- Provide strategic and operational insurance advice to schools and office staff.
- Lead projects to develop policy and improve organisational practices.
- Analyse data and manage insurance claims, settlements, and reporting.
- Prepare technical reports and committee papers.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams such as Legal, Finance, and Safeguarding to mitigate risk.
- Drive continuous improvement in insurance systems and procedures.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar insurance role.
- Understanding of the commercial insurance market.
- Tertiary qualifications in business or law (highly regarded).
- Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
- Leading a variety of projects to meet operational outcomes.
- Analytical in your approach to problem solving.
- Worked with multiple stakeholders and leadership teams in your area of specialty.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children or ability to obtain one.
