Summary
Join Brisbane Catholic Education as a Senior Officer – RTO Compliance and play an important role in supporting compliant, consistent and high-quality vocational education and training across BCE schools. Based at the Brisbane Catholic Education Office in Woolloongabba, this specialist position undertakes compliance monitoring, assessment validation and quality assurance activities across the Registered Training Organisation. Working closely with the RTO Manager, VET Leaders and school-based staff, you will provide practical guidance that strengthens compliance practices and supports effective VET delivery. The role also contributes to audit readiness, continuous improvement and the timely identification and resolution of compliance risks. About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Undertake compliance monitoring across BCE school sites, supporting the consistent application of RTO policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate assessment validation activities, including scheduling, evidence collection, documentation and follow-up actions
- Review and maintain compliance evidence relating to training and assessment, assessment tools, validation, trainer requirements and school delivery arrangements
- Analyse compliance information, identify emerging issues and prepare clear reports, summaries and recommendations
- Provide practical guidance to VET Leaders and school-based staff to build understanding of RTO compliance obligations
- Monitor school-level compliance actions and follow up with stakeholders to support their timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records, registers and reporting information to strengthen audit readiness and continuous improvement
- Support internal reviews and audit preparation by collating evidence, identifying gaps and contributing to corrective actions and improved compliance resources
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Demonstrated experience supporting compliance, quality assurance or VET program delivery within an RTO environment
- Sound understanding of RTO regulatory requirements, assessment validation and evidence management
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify compliance issues and prepare practical recommendations
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate activities, maintain accurate records and follow actions through to completion
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical guidance
- A collaborative approach to working with school-based staff, VET Leaders and internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality, audit-ready documentation
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent experience is desirable

- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
