Summary

 

Become the go-to expert, offering insightful advice on complex technical, commercial, and operational challenges. Manage end to end recruitment whilst providing expert recruitment and operational advice to enhance Talent practices and stakeholder engagement.

  • Salary: $122,215 - $135,119 plus super 
  • Status: Fixed term | 11 months | August 2025 - June 2026

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for: 

  • Represent BCE at industry and career events, driving EVP initiatives.
  • Manage end to end recruitment processes across a range of portfolios.
  • Consult on fit-for-purpose recruitment practices and sourcing strategies.
  • Providing complex technical, commercial, operational advice and developing administrative management practices in Talent Manager.
  • Collaborating across business areas to develop, implement or resolve organisational requirements and needs. 
  • Undertaking in-depth research and analysis to provide professional and technical advice on specialised administrative and complex operational issues. Continuously review and improve HR and recruitment policies.
  • Analyse data and information, streamline processes, identify gaps and trends to improve and enhance operational practices. 
  • Instructing or assigning work to staff and review the quality of work undertaken. 
  • Lead and manage team members, inspire and guide a team to meet recruitment goals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. 

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Previous experience working within the education or early child care industry will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Able to handle pressure and adapt to changing priorities, maintaining a positive attitude and high performance.
  • Providing advice on complex technical, commercial, operational, and administrative management practices. 
  • Stakeholder engagement for cross-collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset, using data and information to identify areas for improving operational practices. 
  • Demonstrates a proactive mindset, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with SAP Success Factors is highly desirable, but not essential 

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children. 
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
