Summary

 

We’re seeking a Senior Talent Partner to join BCE’s high‑performing and collaborative Talent team, with a strong focus on supporting secondary schools. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands‑on recruitment professional who enjoys partnering with principals and leadership teams, shaping workforce and attraction strategies, and delivering practical recruitment solutions across a complex secondary school portfolio. 

Reporting to the Talent Lead, the Senior Talent Partner is accountable for full lifecycle recruitment across a portfolio of secondary schools and office teams. Working closely with principals, hiring managers and People & Culture colleagues, you will provide expert advice and delivery across all aspects of recruitment.

  • Salary: $122,215 – $135,119 plus super

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will: 

  • Partner with secondary school principals and leadership teams to plan recruitment aligned to workforce, enrolment and operational needs
  • Uphold BCE’s job evaluation methodology as an active Evaluation Panel member
  • Consult across your school portfolio on fit for purpose recruitment, selection and appointment practices, and providing tactical solutions to sourcing challenges
  • Execute strategic sourcing strategies, presenting high quality shortlists and building sustainable talent pools for secondary teaching, leadership and support role
  • Provide advice on recruitment, selection and appointment procedures, ensuring compliance and best practice
  • Represent BCE at industry, education and career events, and contributing to EVP and employer branding initiatives
  • Lead, coach and mentor one or more team members, supporting their performance, development and capability growth
  • Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues to deliver integrated, practical people solutions to schools and office teams

About you

 

You are an experienced talent acquisition professional who combines strategic thinking with confident delivery in complex environments. You will bring:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in end to end recruitment, managing high volume and diverse portfolios
  • At least two years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a coaching led approach to people leadership
  • Experience operating in large, decentralised or complex organisations, ideally supporting frontline environments such as schools
  • A strong consultative style, with the ability to influence and advise secondary school leaders on recruitment, workforce planning and best practice
  • A solutions focused, adaptable mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children
