Summary

We’re seeking a Senior Talent Partner, to join BCE’s high performing and collaborative Talent team. This role is ideal for a strategic recruitment professional ready to make an impact, shaping attraction strategies, consulting across schools and office teams, and delivering innovative recruitment solutions to meet current and future workforce needs.

  • Salary: $122,215.26- $135,119.02 plus super

About the opportunity

In this position you will:
  • Partner with school and office leaders to plan recruitment aligned with workforce needs, including supporting internal staff mobility and career progression across the system
  • Consult on and support recruitment, selection, appointment, and internal movement practices across your portfolio
  • Support internal mobility outcomes by balancing employee aspirations, system priorities, and operational needs
  • Lead and uphold BCE’s job evaluation methodology as an active Evaluation Panel member
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, presenting quality shortlists, building strong talent pools, and identifying opportunities for internal talent development and movement
  • Represent BCE at industry events and support EVP and branding initiatives
  • Lead, coach and mentor one or more team members, supporting their development and performance
  • Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues to deliver integrated HR solutions to school and office teams
  • Negotiate effective, sustainable recruitment and internal mobility outcomes, managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations with professionalism and care

 

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:  
 
The ideal candidate will be an experienced talent acquisition professional with at least five years’ experience in end‑to‑end recruitment and a minimum of two years in a leadership or supervisory role.
With a background in large, complex organisations, the candidate will bring a strategic and hands‑on approach to recruitment, combining energy, adaptability, and a solutions‑focused mindset to navigate complexity with confidence.
 
You will also demonstrate:
  • Strong capability in negotiating effective outcomes, particularly where workforce needs, internal mobility aspirations, and operational constraints intersect
  • Confidence in managing stakeholder expectations, including navigating difficult conversations and balancing risk, pace, and fairness
  • The ability to influence through advice, credibility, and relationship‑building rather than authority
  • A collaborative and values‑led approach aligned to BCE’s mission, culture, and ways of working
 
As a confident and supportive people leader, the ideal candidate will foster the growth of those around them, helping teams achieve collective success while supporting sustainable workforce outcomes

  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement
