Summary

 

Join Brisbane Catholic Education’s Corporate Services team as a Supplier Verification & Onboarding Advisor, where you’ll manage supplier onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure compliance, integrity, and operational readiness. Become the go-to expert, offering insightful advice on complex technical, commercial, and operational challenges while conducting due diligence and risk screening, maintaining accurate supplier records, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve supplier-related needs and drive process improvements. About the opportunity

 

In this position you will: 

 

  • Manage the operation and administration of supplier onboarding, offboarding, and verification processes
  • Conduct due diligence, risk screening, and classification of suppliers in line with BCE policies
  • Maintain accurate supplier master data, tags, and flags across eProcurement and contracting systems
  • Develop and maintain onboarding and offboarding checklists, process maps, FAQs, and communications
  • Provide subject matter expertise on supplier engagement and classification
  • Collaborate across business areas to resolve supplier-related needs and improve workflows
  • Analyse data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Engage with stakeholders to clarify onboarding and offboarding requirements and support compliance
  • Support continuous improvement of supplier lifecycle practices and documentation

About you

 

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

 

  • Experience in supplier onboarding and offboarding, verification, or procurement and contracting operations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data integrity across systems
  • Ability to interpret and apply procurement, contracting, and risk policies in operational settings
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Legally eligible to work in Australia and able to meet all mandatory pre-employment checks
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, or a related field (highly regarded)
  • Experience with eProcurement, contracting, and finance systems (e.g., Unimarket, D365, Portt) and familiarity with supplier classification frameworks
  • Proven track record of identifying process improvements and supporting compliance in supplier management  

 

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
