  • Location: BCE Office - Woolloongabba 
  • Work hours: Full-time | Flexible working arrangements available
  • Salary: $150,827 - $167,579 + super 
  • Status: Permanent (continuing)

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will be responsible for: 

  • Lead and manage a high-performing recruitment team, inspire and guide a team to meet recruitment goals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. 
  • Analyse and report on strategic talent directions. Provide data-driven recommendations to align recruitment strategies with BCE’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships and influence decision-makers across the organisation. 
  • Innovate and implement talent acquisition strategies, explore new ways to attract talent, building pipelines and addressing emerging recruitment challenges.
  • Manage recruiter, agency and university partnerships, maintaining effective relationships with external partners to attract top talent.
  • Oversee Executive and Leadership Team recruitment. Lead recruitment for senior roles, in consultation with Executives and Senior Leadership. 
  • Review and update recruitment procedures; continuously assess and improve recruitment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support annual budget processes and assist in managing the talent acquisition budget and resource allocation. 
  • Provide complex recruitment advice and offer expert guidance to hiring managers on challenging recruitment decisions.

About you

 

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Experienced leader capable of managing large budgets and overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Strong background in managing large teams and driving recruitment strategies.
  • Ability to handle the complexities of managing a large workforce.
  • Experience within the Education sector or similar large organisations is highly valued.
  • Aligns with BCE’s vision and values, fostering a culture that upholds these principles.
  • Being responsible for the implementation and delivery of strategic objectives and attainment. 
  • Stakeholder engagement across an organisation at a Senior level. 
  • A related tertiary degree is highly desirable.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
